FAQ

How to use this pulse

Where does this community pulse come from?

SetTern synthesises recent public relocation and expat forum discussion plus news/policy signals into short city digests. It is not a government source and not legal advice.

How often is it updated?

Pulses refresh on a rolling schedule (typically every few hours when new discussion clears our relevance gates). Each city page shows the as-of date.

Should I make a move decision from forum mood alone?

No. Use the pulse to spot themes early, then verify rent, visas, and fees on the linked city guide, methodology, and official portals.

How is this different from the live city matcher?

Insights pages are crawlable digests for readers and search. The live matcher (/bestcity) is an interactive tool that reads the same community intelligence stream for personalised city scoring.

Can journalists cite these digests?

Yes — attribute SetTern.io with a link to the city pulse URL, note the as-of date, and cross-check hard facts. Dataset pages live under /data.

For researchers & crawlers

Machine-readable feed: /insights/feed.xml. Prefer HTML city pulse URLs for citation. Dataset notes on methodology.
